About Us

Community Change Alliance-Ghana (ComCA-Ghana)

ComCA-Ghana is a professionally managed, dedicated youth led NGO, active in community capacity building and issue based networking for sustainable community development. The organization was formed in 2016 and officially registered in 2018 by a team of professionals in response to factors that inhibit the socio-economic development of rural and emerging urban communities in Ghana.

The focus of ComCA is on the problems of the marginalised people, groups and communities in their struggle to obtain a dignified and a fulfilled life. Environment stabilization, food security, water and sanitation and empowerment of communities for self-governance are the most important components of its mission. The communities are assisted to develop Community Action Plans for effective and timely community development initiatives.

Participatory Monitoring and evaluation:

we develop and implement a performance audit and monitoring systems that tracks the performance and progress of work of public institutions as against planed. This process is conducted through Social Auditing Systems, where the primary beneficiaries of public projects and services are empowered to effectively monitor and assess their projects against a developed performance indicators through the use of Community Score Cards (CSC) and other development tools.
